Unfortunately, we cannot start the process with Medicaid for you if you already have Medicaid and you are in need of extra assistance please follow the steps below. (Please note this process can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks)
- Contact Medicaid and ask them to send a nurse to evaluate you for PCS (personal care services)
- Medicaid will send a nurse out to evaluate your need for services, tell your nurse at this time which agency you would like your services to be through
- You will receive a letter from Medicaid about 1 week after your nursing assessment telling you if you are approved and how many hours you have been approved for.
- Medicaid will also send us your information and we will contact you within 24-48 hours of receiving your information to get services started.
We will come out and provide a free in-home assessment to discuss wants, needs, schedules, payment, and services. Our director can then build a plan of care to get services started.
Get in contact with your nurse or physician at the VA and ask them to refer you to home care service with the agency of your choice. The VA will then send us the information we need and we can contact you within 24-48 hours of receiving your information to get services started.
